1. Local.com Corp. (LOCM): the paid-search advertising services provider is having a sweet ride on the market today with 46% gain to 52 weeks high of $12.93 per share after Hearst Communications reported 22.4% stake or 2.7 million shares in the company. The stock was the biggest winner on Nasdaq today with 15.3 million shares traded.
2. Hilton Hotels Corp. (HLT): as expected shares of the leading global hotel chain operator surged 26% to $45.39 per share after Blackston agreed to buy the hotel chain operator for $20 billion. The stock was the second leading gainer and the heaviest traded on Nasdaq today with 105 million shares exchanged hands.
