• KBR Inc.(KBR): sharese of engineering and consruction company in the energy and petrochemicals industry jumped 12.54% to $35.28 per share after the company gets $8.5 million contract boost for additional services for personnel at two Iraqi oil platforms. The stock was the third leading gainer on NYSE today with 5.98 million shares traded.

Stock Drop on Heavy Volumn:

• Eldorado Gold Corp.(EGO): shares of Vancouver, Canada based gold mining company plunged 24.71% to $5.18 per share after the company's Kisladag gold mine would be shutdown by Turkish court order. The stock was the second leading decliner on AMEX on a bullish market with 11.89 shares traded.
