Stocks On The Move - August 18

Stocks Rise on Heavy Volumn:

• Mills Corp. (MLS): after losing 19.83% earlier this week shares of shopping center REIT recovered 24.91% today to $16.8 per share on analyst upgrade. As ROC is at oversold level and KD is about to rise we could see more buying for the stock. The stock was the biggest winner on NYSE today with 7.9 million shares exchanged hands.
• Gasco Energy Inc.(GSX): shares of Englewood, Colorado based oil exploration company bounced back 22.92% to $2.95 per share as the company announced it has acquired assets from the Riverbend Project. The stock dropped to 52 weeks low in the previous sessions. Now that K line has just crossed on top over D line we may see some rally coming for the hard beaten stock. Today it was the leading gainer on AMEX today with 7.4 million shares traded.
