Stocks Rise on Heavy Volumn:
- GoAmerica Inc. (GOAM): shares of Hackensack, NJ based wireless communication services provider soared 37.57% to new 52 weeks high of $7.8 per share after the company launch new service which allows deaf users to make web calls. With 50 day moving average now above 200 day moving average the stock should continue to go up strong. The stock was the second best performer on Nasdaq today with 5.64 million shares traded.
- Halozyme Therapeutics Inc. (HTI): shares of San Diego, CA based biopharmaceutical company skyrocketted 59.64% to new 52 weeks high of $4.55 per share after the company signed deal with Roche worth $581 million. The stock was the best performer of the stock market today with 6.83 million shares traded.
Stocks Drop on Heavy Volumn:
- Insmed Inc. (INSM): shares of Glen Allen, VA based drug maker for metabolic diseases plunged 17.61% to $1.31 per share and lost another 8.4% to $1.2 per share in after hour after the company lost battle in the court to Tercica and Genentech over a patent infringement case. The stock was the worst stock on Nasdaq today with 8.46 million shares traded.
