The stock was the seventh leading gainer and the fifteenth heaviest traded on Nasdaq today with 18 million shares traded or seven times average volumn.

- Neurocrine Biosciences Inc. (NBIX): shares San Diego, CA based drug maker going opposite way of its rival Sepracor by dipping 62% or $33.87 to new 52 weeks low of $20.76 per share on FDA delaying the company's new sleeping pill. The stock was the second biggest loser and seven heaviest traded on Nasdaq today with 46.8 million shares exchanged hands, or 30 times average volumn.
- DOV Pharmaceutical Inc. (DOVP): shares of Hackensack, NJ based drug maker sank 58.16% or $4.03 to new 52 weeks low of $3.02 per share on analysts downgrade as the company is affected by FDA's approval delay of Neurocrine's Indiplon as the drug was licensed by DOV. The stock was the third leading decliner, following NBIX, on Nasdaq today with 10.99 million shares traded or 30 times average volumn.
