• Trident Microsystems Inc. (TRID): the Sunnyvale, CA based graphic chips maker rose 14.18% to $20.86 per share as the probe to the company's stock option grants has ended. The chip maker was the fifth leading gainer on Nasdaq today with 8.66 million shares traded.
