The stock was the winner on Nasdaq today with 10.3 million shares traded.
• Wendy's International Inc.(WEN): shares of the nation's third largest hamburger chain operator surged 16.25% to $37.99 per share as the company is planning to sell all the assets left. The stock was the second leading gainer on NYSE today with 13 million shares exchanged hands.

Stock Drop on Heavy Volumn:

• Covad Communications Group Inc. (DVW): shares of San Jose, CA based VoIP product and service company tumbled 16% to $1 per share on disappointing first quarter result as net losses widened to $14.5 million compared to $8.4 million a year ago.
