(WEBM): shares of business integration and optimization software maker soared 27.2% to $9.26 per share after Germany's Software AG is buying the company for $546 million or $9.15 per share. The stock was the second leading gainer on Nasdaq today with 26.4 million shares traded, the seventh heaviest traded on Nasdaq.
• Dendreon Corp.(DNDN): the red hot biotechnology company continued the rocket ride on Thursday againing another 20% to $18.05 per share with another heavy volumn of $60 million shares making it the heaviest traded equity on Nasdaq on a slightly light pre-holiday trading. In the past five trading sessions the stock has gained 250%.

Stocks Drop on Heavy Volumn:

• Cutera Inc. (CUTR): shares of Brisbane, CA based medical equipment maker for aesthetic market plunged 30.53% to $26.67 per share after the company cuts its first quarter outlook due to lower-than-expected productivity levels on recent sales expansion. The stock was the third leading decliner on Nasdaq today with 7.2 million shares traded.
